I’m a very experienced rider (hundreds of thousands of miles).
My experience with seat suspension thus far has been with a seat-post suspension (worthless) and more recently, with an old-fashioned springy-type built-in to the seat (which works decently).
This system is even better, though. You get a true “floating” type feel with it.
There are possibly more effective/sophisticated and lighter systems out there but they cost twice as much.
What I really like is that in addition to the “floaty” sensation and really good shock-absorption, it never truly bottoms out, even if I purposely come down hard on it.
Not sure how it does this, but maybe has something to do with the fact that while the rear spring is compressing downward, another spring in the front is being stretched simultaneously. I really like this. DO pay close attention to the chart in the ad so that you order the correct one for your weight and preferred riding position. When you install, you’ll probably need to tilt your seat further down (to the front) so that it levels out to your preferred tilt when you apply your weight to it.

Definitely helps to absorb bumps.
Extremely easy to install and while expensive is way cheaper than a quality suspension seat post and doesn’t take away from your seat post adjustment range like cheaper seat post suspension systems.
And in my opinion it actually looks kinda cool. Surprisingly light weight too!

What a difference this spring makes!
The seat used to dig into my tail bone but with this installed I feel like I’m riding on a pogo stick, I can definitely feel it flex.
Granted I also changed the seat from a regular size to an extra large one so that also adds to the enhanced experience. I had a hard time fitting it on the seat clamp and I wondered if perhaps the large one was not the correct size but I eventually managed to shove it in there and tighten it.
I don’t know how much these things go for but this one seems pretty pricey.
It works very well though so it might be worth it.

My eBike did not have a suspension option so I can feel the bumpy ride on rough surfaces.
This attachment sits between the seat pole and the seat.
Although the seat has small suspensions, they are just not enough to cushion the ride.
This product is exactly what I needed to help smooth out the ride on rough terrains.
You will notice the different as if you have a rear suspension bike.
I really like this design and I highly recommend this product.

So far, I really like this seat adapter.
It is quite easy to install and does not add extra bulk to my seat.
Also gave me the ability to adjust my seat more than I had it before.
I have a frame that is right at the line of being too small for my 6’3″ self, and this seat has given me the opportunity to back it up the extra 1/4″ I needed to get my pedal/knee alignment perfect.
I can also install my under seat storage bag with this adapter installed, which I didn’t think was going to be possible.

As for the operation of the seat, it is about as perfect as one could hope for.
In addition to being on the tall side, I am also a stocky fellow.
Therefore, I got the “Large” version, which can handle my weight.
I am in the 250 lbs vicinity (+ or – depending on how much gravity we have on any given day ;-p ) and the large version is just perfect.
The suspension is stiff enough not to make it bouncy while pedaling, but soft enough to absorb the impact of my hardtail frame going off a curb, etc. It’s just the right mix for me.

The components are nicely machined and the unit feels extremely sturdy while installed. Threaded parts all thread into metal threads, and the markings are clear and easy to read. Mine came with blue locktite installed on all the screws, which is a major relief when you think about the consequences of your seat falling off on a mountain bike…

All in all, I am very pleased with this unit and I feel like it will be a ‘sit bone’ saver that will allow me to keep my non-chafing saddle, and be able to sit down after a ride.

After using this for a few weeks I can say that this definitely makes riding more comfortable.
I have a hard tail mountain bike that I use for trail riding and this helps to smooth out the bumps.
It is very well made, a very solid build. I’m 6’1″ and 220 pounds and it gives me a nice cushion.
It was easy to install but you will have to drop your seat because it does raise it up a little.

I wanted some sort of suspension on my ebike seat, and I’ve tried others that were less expensive, and you can feel how cheap they are in the ride.
I ditched those and tried this thing, and I’m loving it.
At first, I was like, This isn’t doing anything, and then I’d hit some bumps and think I didn’t feel much.
Maybe this isn’t doing anything?
Then I carefully reached my hand under the seat to feel what it was doing, and to my surprise, it was doing a lot.
I think the fact that I wasn’t really feeling what it was doing was a testament to how good this is.
All I can say is that this thing is staying on my bike from now on.
The more I ride, the more I realize how much more comfortable my rides are now.
This probably goes without mentioning, and be aware that this adds height to your seat, so if you’re normally riding with the seat post all the way down, it may make your seat too high for you.
I recently got a gimbal for my phone, so I’m going to try and post a video of the Air Seat working while I’m riding.
Stay tuned…

My seat is comfortable, but doesn’t have cushion or spring…it does now.
I am used to seats with vertical spring action, which this device adds.
There is also a slight lateral movement that takes some getting used to, but I kind of like it and got accustomed to it quickly.
Performed well on a five mile test run over smooth and rough pavement.

It is very important that you have 1.5 to 2 inches of adjustment travel left on your seat post (I did), since this device will use that up. Otherwise, you will be riding higher. Took about 15 minutes to install on a Trek mountain bike.
Consult the position and weight chart to select the right model.
