What could be better: While no fault of the design, I was not inclined to enjoy the floaty feel Nothing wrong with this device whatsoever. A casual rider with a stocky frame, it’s nice to have a little extra shock absorption. This device delivers on that goal, handily. While no fault of the device, I felt that the mild wavy feeling to the ride it affords was just a tad off-putting for me. I think this is a personal preference, and not a sign of any design flaw. It just wasn’t a feeling I gravitate to. Otherwise, a well-designed suspension device that smooths the bumps. Five stars. |

This one only raises the seat by 1.5″ (rather than 3.5-4″). I also love that this comes in different versions for people of different weights. As a 110lb rider, I’ve never been able to find a suspension system that actually works for my weight (most require the rider to be at least 130lb to get any real benefit). Finally, the suspension works on 2 planes (up/down; front/back) rather than just one 1 plane like most suspension seat posts. Although the effect is subtle, it does really improve the comfort of your ride. |

While the one disadvantage is that you lose maximum drop height, the benefits are worth this small sacrifice. I had to change to a larger size to avoid bottoming out. Pun intended. |

But after riding for a few dozen kilometers, my butt got used to it, and suddenly every bumpy road felt like smooth pavement. Sure, it doesn’t completely flatten big bumps like curbs between sidewalks and roads, but you no longer have to lift your butt — and that’s a win.
Pedaling efficiency might drop just a little, but since you’re no longer spending mental and physical energy dealing with rough roads, your overall fatigue is significantly reduced. |

I’m hoping its not permanently on my bike but hopefully I can ride some and not make it worse. I ordered the lighter weight (25) and the one for heavier riders cause I am kind of a tweener – between the weights specified. It took a bit to hook up and it certainly won’t work on all bikes. Remember it will be higher then your normal seat so you will have to lower the seat post some. It seems to do what it says it will do, and I am happy with it so far. I would recommend but do your research and know what you are getting versus what you want |

I have a hard tail mountain bike that I use for trail riding and this helps to smooth out the bumps. It is very well made, a very solid build. I’m 6’1” and 220 pounds and it gives me a nice cushion. It was easy to install but you will have to drop your seat because it does raise it up a little. |

The old saddle spring I had compromised fit and failed in fatigue as expected. Thankfully this was at my door in 2 days and makes a sweet ride out of my Specialized Roll. Went out and hit manhole covers 50mm proud of the road with a sharp edge. I avoid them when possible but this test gave my lower back zero issues. Don’t hesitate pick one based on your ride position and weight and do not look back. All the way home I hit the biggest expansion joints and cracks I could find and nothing… Yes I like it! Better design and fatigue tested. -Update 40 miles in I am very happy with the extra comfort delivered. I will now stop testing and intentionally hitting the craters when possible but remain confident when traffic or other issues demand I ride through it! Best $$ spend on my bike adventures yet. |
